On Acquiring Faith...

For the Second Sunday in Easter, we offer a message of grace poured out. The message includes the record of initial apostolic behavior portrayed by the Gospel According to Saint John. The picture of hidden discipleship does not hold up the followers of Jesus as pillars of the church whom we should adore, but offers that they were sinfully human. Even so, we note in history what God accomplished through them. If we want faith, just ask for the gift in the name of Jesus Christ.
